Program Overview 12 weeks in duration. Comprehensive training provided by SimonMed Imaging, both didactic and clinical. Expand your expertise and knowledge of breast anatomy, physiology, and pathology. Become proficient in using mammography equipment and software. Board preparation. What you’ll do: Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams with precision to ensure exceptional image quality. Learn and master mammography techniques through hands-on cross-training. Position patients accurately and prioritize their safety and comfort. Operate and maintain imaging equipment, adhering to safety and quality control FDA/MQSA standards. Collaborate directly with radiologists and follow protocols. Maintain accurate medical records and follow all compliance protocols for imaging. Stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and imaging practices. Who you are: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography required with a current state licensure. 1 yrs of X-Ray Technologist experience with an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology, or equivalent, from an accredited program. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Strong knowledge of x-ray fundamentals, practice ALARA. Excellent communication and patient care skills. It would be a plus if you also have experience in: Outpatient or ambulatory setting. Other modalities. At SimonMed Imaging, your health, happiness and future matters!
