About The Role & Team: Are you interested in being a part of the
Sales organization for our iconic Disney Fairy Tale Weddings brand?
You will be responsible for working with our couples, ensuring
their dreams come true, at the most magical place on Earth. As a
Sales Manager with The Walt Disney Company, you will offer
incomparable experiences for weddings. Our unparalleled products
and services, across Walt Disney World, delivers on Disney's
legendary commitment to creativity and services for groups and
events. You will report to the Sales and Services Director -
Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings. This is a Full-Time position. What
You Will Do: - Develop wedding opportunities through assigned
leads, new business solicitation from social media, Open Houses,
and other sales activities - Negotiate contracts that fairly meet
Disney's and our client's needs - representing the best interests
of all the lines of business (Food & Beverage, Operations, Disney
Event Group), creating multiple events per wedding - Develop
creative wedding solutions that meet the couple's needs - Manage
contracts, room blocks, credit terms, and necessary approvals - Use
systems to maintain accurate records, monitor sales activity, and
have willingness to learn new systems - Have knowledge in all
Disney products and services - Be responsible for personal sales
productivity, ensuring that it is reflected correctly on sales
reports and follows SUCCESS guidelines, on a monthly basis - Know
and follow all Disney company polices and guidelines - Represent
the Disney brand in all internal and external client interactions -
Participate in learning opportunities through local organizations,
advanced trends, and social media outlets Required Qualifications
and Skills: - At least three years of Sales/Service or equivalent
hospitality experience, with at least two years of experience as a
Sales or Service Manager - Demonstrated verbal and written
communication skills, and organization skills - Understanding
client needs - Demonstrated client management and partnering
abilities - Knowledge in wedding timing, food & beverage,
photography, and entertainment - Demonstrated problem solving and
decision-making skills - Proficiency with digital selling, virtual
site visits, Teams presentations, and Social Media technology in a
sales environment - Understanding of current market conditions in
wedding industry - Social and networking skills and awareness of
cultural sensitivity Preferred Education: - Bachelor's Degree or
