CIMA influences data-driven and consumer-centric decision making with integrated, objective, and actionable insights.As a Sales Channel Planning Analyst with Sales Analytics & Insights (SAI) in CIMA, youd use data to help teams make decisions for our clients. You must be comfortable working with data, collaborating with partners, conducting analyses, developing reporting, improving processes and communicating insights. You will help internal stakeholders by providing administration and analysis of the incentive programs for Disney teams selling Domestic Disney Destinations (Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney and Aulani Resort & Spa).The role reports to the Manager, Sales Channel Planning and will be based in Orlando, FL.Responsibilities:Youll join a fast-paced team of professionals that enable data-driven capabilities and sales performance analytics for the Disney Destinations Sales Solutions organization. In addition to cast incentives, the Sales Analytics & Insights team provides objective decision support in the following areas: client incentives, sales channel analytics and growth, and sales strategy.Each day the role of a Sales Channel Planning Analyst is robust and evolving! Day to day responsibilities might include:

  • Review and evaluate quarterly sales performance against established goals
  • Develop new efficiencies and processes for extracting and integrating big data sets
  • Develop an understanding of different internal and external sales-related systems for consulting with internal clients
  • Provide data and insights for meetings, presentations, and ad hoc requests
  • Contribute to multiple short- and long-term projects simultaneously under changing and challenging constraints
  • Foster relationships with internal departments and project stakeholdersBasic Qualifications:
    • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop and articulate actionable, fact-based, insights and recommendations
    • Demonstrated ability to leverage data integration software skills including spreadsheets and databases software
    • Proven experience working with Tableau and other reporting and data mining tools (e.g., Python, SAS, Teradata SQL, Business Objects, etc.)
    • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
    • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to partner with others and deal effectively with multiple projects and changing prioritiesPreferred Qualifications:
      • Walt Disney Parks and Resorts experience
      • Team collaboration and experience working cross-functionally across different teams
      • Data and/or Business analytics experience
      • Travel industry experience
