We are seeking a Cyber Embedded Design and Development Engineer to join our team and design, implement, deploy, and maintain state of the art security architectures and countermeasures to protect and enable innovative new Lockheed Martin products. Key responsibilities for this role: - Balance security, compliance, performance, power and cost for a diverse portfolio of embedded devices - Evaluate the security of new product designs and analyze vulnerabilities and threats. - Prototype and test countermeasures that defend against cyber-attacks. - Embed yourself amongst Hardware, Firmware, Software, and Systems. Engineers to define and integrate security measures into a wide range of high integrity, safety-critical products. Relocation: Relocation assistance is possible for this exciting position. The Locale: Orlando is a city in the Central Florida area. This region is a great place to live and to raise a family. Central Florida offers lots of attractive residential housing options. The Greater Orlando metropolitan area is the sixth largest metro area in the southeastern United States. The climate here is warm and sunny all year long for the most part. Orlando is home to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios Florida, and SeaWorld. Orlando is also home to the second largest University in the US, the University of Central Florida (UCF). Where can you get to from Orlando? Orlando is about an hour's drive from Cocoa Beach and the "space coast" to include NASA and the Kennedy Space Center. Tampa is about 1.5 hours from Orlando. West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast. Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest. MFCREFER Basic Qualifications: - Design of embedded systems written primarily in C/C++ - Experience with real-time operating systems and embedded hardware - Familiarity and design experience through the DoD systems lifecycle - Hands-on experience implementing Risk Management Framework (RMF) and development of required artifacts - Bachelor of Science in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering Must have an active secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years to be considered for this opportunity. Desired Skills: Strong electrical engineering background, including both analog and digital domains - Greater than 3 years of hands-on experience working with embedded systems - Familiar with the embedded microprocessor design process as how it relates to software assurance: compilers, debuggers, IDE and source code control - Good understanding of security protocol design and analysis, firmware and embedded OS design principles - Experience with secure coding and software assurance practices. - Penetration testing experience including use of tools such as those found in Kali Linux, Backtrack, or equivalent - Deep understanding of OSI layers and associated protocols - Professional software development experience in C, C++, and Python - Linux systems administration experience including STIG hardening and compliance checks - Software and firmware reverse engineering experience - Extensive knowledge of at least one of: secure boot implementations, cryptographic key management, state of the art cryptographic architectures for power-limited solutions. - Demonstrated experience in at least one of the following: defeating physical anti-tamper mechanisms, performing and defending against side-channel and fault-injection attacks, and/or reverse-engineering and exploitation of embedded systems hardware and protocols BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: job.Qualifications Lockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
