Their more than 800 independent agents specialize in personalized services extending beyond open enrollment, processing more than $225 million in annualized premium while serving 50,000 Americans annually.Position SummaryThe Customer Outreach Coordinator is responsible for developing community-based relationships to enhance outreach opportunities.Position -Responsibilities:

• Trains and familiarizes designated team members on DCF Benefits application and eligibility procedures.
• Evaluates and implements Community Partner Center requirements, including annual training and posters.
• Focuses on process improvement, and organizational changes.
• Communicates and serves as liaison with case managers, clients, DCF and other State and Federal Governmental entities to support and assist in ensuring the client obtains Medicaid coverage and receives appropriate funding for services provided.
• Accurate and timely processes new/renewal reviews and re-determinations DCF Benefits eligibility applications for clients, by determining eligibility, applying and proper follow up.
• Provides technical assistance on the completion of TANF applications and eligibility re-determinations process to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Assists clients in submitting required applications documents via fax or uploading them accordingly.
• Maintains accurate eligibility records for all clients with the appropriate paperwork required for the DCF Community Partner Centers.

  • A minimum of some college degree; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least two (2) + years marketing or community relations experience in Medicaid managed care industry.
  • Ability to -communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing. -
  • High degree of initiative, flexibility, organizational skills, and creativity. -
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid. -
  • Public speaking experience to large or small groups in formal or informal settings. -
  • Strong interpersonal and presentations skills. -
  • Intermediate MS Office computer skills. -
