RADIOLOGY AND IMAGING SPECIALISTJOB DESCRIPTIONJob Title:Physician Liaison Assistant/RunnerLocation:Kissimmee OfficeDivision/Dept.:Radiology and Imaging SpecialistsReports To:Chief Executive OfficerType of Shift:Full TimeJOB SUMMARY The Physician Liaison Assistant will, individually or as part of a marketing team, work to achieve assigned goals. Primary responsibility involves managing the physician's office call list and acting as the liaison between the radiology company and the referring community including physicians, staff, and their patients. In addition, the individual is expected to work in tandem with other staff members and/or marketing representatives to provide a level of service that facilitates the establishment and maintenance of long term relationships with referrers. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES1. Support marketing strategies as directed by the CEO.2. Maintain current database of existing and potential clients.3. Schedule and participate in luncheons, dinners, health fairs, and other events to network with patient and physiciancommunity as the representative of a radiology office.4. Manage call list and show ability to grow existing client list through scheduled appointments and "cold" calls on a routine basis.5. Provide support and education to referring office staff.6. Deliver marketing materials and prescription order pads on a regular basis to referring physicians in the area.7. Other related work as assigned.8. Excellent Customer Service.WORK EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS4 year college degree is preferred.1-2 years in either medical sales or physician relations.SKILLS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to recognize potential problems and provide fast solutionsAbility to work alone - self motivatedComputer skills such as database maintenance, report generating, etc.Availability and willingness to travel generally within the Kissimmee/Orlando area. Must own a reliable vehicle and possess a good driving record.This job requires prolonged sitting or standing, frequent bending, stooping, or stretching; Must be able to see with or without corrective eyewear, must be able to hear clearly, with or without assistance. This position may require lifting 25 plus pounds.
