-Lockheed Martin is seeking an Electronics Packaging Engineer to
join our team in Orlando, FL.
-The engineer will have the opportunity to design
electronic packaging required for processor, interface electronics,
power cards, and flexes.
-System has significant physical and thermal constraints so
experience with high density electronic packaging is desired.
-The engineer will have the opportunity to work on and collaborate
with cross functional teams with other engineering disciplines.
-The engineer will have the opportunity to mentor less experienced
engineers.

The Locale: Orlando is a city in the Central Florida area. This
region is a great place to live and to raise a family. Central
Florida offers lots of attractive residential housing options. The
Greater Orlando metropolitan area is the sixth largest metro area
in the southeastern United States. The climate here is warm and
sunny all year long for the most part. Orlando is home to the
University of Central Florida (UCF), Walt Disney World, and
SeaWorld. Where can you get to from Orlando? Orlando is about an
hour's drive from Cocoa Beach and the "space coast" to include NASA
and the Kennedy Space Center. Tampa is about 1 and - hours from
Orlando. West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and
Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast. Atlanta, GA is 6
hours to the northwest.

Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree in Engineering or related discipline with 5 years
of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience
with a related Masters degree.
-Must have the ability to travel.
-Knowledge of printed wiring board and surface mount
technologies.
-Experience in defining acceptance tests for harnesses, and
verification of harnesses
-Knowledge of manufacturing and manufacturing processes.
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word,
PowerPoint).
-Capable of performing in a fast paced, dynamic environment, and
working in an inclusive, team environment.
-Strong oral and written communication skills.
-Strong organizational skills.
-Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a DoD Secret
security clearance.
- A security clearance, or ability to obtain one, is required.
Desired Skills:
-Engineer with conceptual and detail skills, knowledge of drawing
standards and experience with detail, assembly, and installation
type 2D drawings.
-PLM/PDM, Computer Aided skills using Windchill/ 3DX Enovia/
Smarteam, CATIA V5 Software, Zuken E3 and Model Based Definition
design for Catia.
-Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
-Knowledge of missiles programs would be a plus.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government
security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee
selected for this position will work part of their work schedule
remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed
during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate
work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day
work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules
provide employees with additional time away from the office and are
in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
