Description Robert Half is seeking a candidate for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk that is able to start asap. This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in the Kissimmee, Florida area and will be a short-term contract / contract / contract / temporary position. This department offers prospects of career growth and advancement. The Accounts Payable Clerk duties will include matching and batching code invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks.Key responsibilities- Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling- Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily- Carry out additional tasks as assigned- Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks- Execute full-cycle A/P- Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents- Provide support during internal and external audits- Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners- Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time Requirements - Approved Invoices experience- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds- Spreadsheet and database capabilities- Prior experience in an A/P role preferred- Be detailed, flexible, and organized- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
