Job Description:
A chemical company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote
Senior Capital Projects Mechanical Piping Designer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following
responsibilities:
Work with design and construction teams to develop and maintain
drafting standards for the company
Work with CAD programs to develop and maintain drawings and
models
Create technical drawings such as PFDs and P&IDs
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology,
Drafting/Design, or other closely related field
5+ years of experience working as a drafter/designer for an
engineering firm
Proficient in AutoCAD or similar software for creating both 2D and
3D drawings and models
Strong technical communication skills and ability to interface with
multiple teams
Exceptional time management and organizational skills
Ability to learn and adapt quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced
startup environment
