The Director of Security and Transportation is responsible for overseeing the operation of the Security, Risk Management and Fleet Transportation Teams, developing Leaders, ensuring all Team Members are engaged and actively pursuing departmental goals, and championing company policies, procedures, and performance standards. Ensure all Guest and Team Member events and injuries are responded to effectively, documented appropriately, and addressed timely while consistently evaluating for root causes. This Leader is responsible for protecting company assets and Life Safety, or damage and reporting events that may impact the wellbeing of facilities, Guests, or Team Members to law enforcement and emergency service agencies as necessary. This Leader is also accountable for the oversight of the Fleet operation of all transportation vehicles from purchasing to the maintenance schedule. This leader is to create and maintain proactive partnership with local emergency agencies to include the companys corporate office.


  • Oversee and protect company assets and personal property that impact the wellbeing of facilities, vehicles, Guest, and Team Members and ensure all operational safety processes and procedures are followed.
  • Proactively analyze Guest and Team Member accidents, injuries, and investigated accidents to identify the root cause, ensure implementation of improved practices and communicate outcomes with Resort Leaders. Create and maintain regularity property inspections.
  • Hire and develop Leaders who are committed to engaging with Guests and Team Members in the pursuit of meaningful experiences, allowing for depart goals and performance standards to be met.
  • Oversee the successful management of operational budgets for Security and Transportation Teams. Ensure cost effective processes are being taken for vehicle maintenance and long-term vehicle replacement initiatives.
  • Cultivate relationship with law enforcement and emergency service agencies as necessary.

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience at the management level, to include experience leading other leaders.
  • Three to five years of security and/or transportation experience in high guest contact environment.
  • Experience in resort, theme-park or related environment preferred.
  • BA/BS preferred


  • Obtain and maintain a current First Aid, CPR ad AED certificate as required
  • Current and valid Drivers License


  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid drivers license, and minimum of 4 years of driving experience.
