career. Information Technology Professionals, We Want You! The
Northrop Grumman Classified Solutions team is seeking a highly
experienced Infrastructure Administrator to join its dynamic team
of technical professionals. The qualified applicant will become
part of Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems support team in
Melbourne, FL. Note: Due to the classified nature of the work being
performed, this position does not offer any virtual or telecommute
working options. Applicants are encouraged to apply, only if they
are willing to work on-site. Responsibilities will include but not
be limited to the following: Support and maintain storage in the
primary data center in Melbourne, FL, and the disaster recovery
sites Install, configure, manage and maintain storage and backup
systems to ensure data integrity, availability, and security Work
closely with Infrastructure and other IT teammates to support and
enhance our infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and implement best
practices Manage and maintain storage and backup systems, including
SAN, NAS, and cloud storage solutions Perform regular data backups
and recovery operations Implement and maintain disaster recovery
plans Troubleshoot and resolve storage and backup-related issues
Install, configure, manage and maintain VMware virtualization
infrastructure for multiple networks Maintain smooth operation of
multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network,
software, and system engineers, PC desktop technicians, project
managers, end users, and customer and IT management Create and
maintain user and computer accounts and modify file permissions and
security access lists Monitor system performance and ensure high
availability and reliability Regular patching and upgrade cycles
Develop and document technical processes and procedures as needed
Identify, analyze, and resolve program support deficiencies Able to
communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, with
internal and external customers, in written and oral format Develop
and recommend corrective actions Report project status as required
for all recurring and non-recurring efforts. Analyze internal and
external customer requirements and determine equipment and software
requirements for solutions to problems Recommend and implement
system enhancements that will improve the performance and
reliability of the system including installing, upgrading/patching,
monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management
Develop and document technical processes and procedures as needed
Make recommendations on the purchase of hardware, software, and
system components Interact, meet, discuss, and troubleshoot issues
with vendors; evaluate vendor products, services, and suggestions
Adhere to strict Information Systems security guidelines in all
cases Maintain security audit and logging information on all
classified networked and standalone computers as directed by the
Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) Work under minimal
direction and independently determine and develop approach to
solutions Lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds This position may
filled at a higher level based on the qualifications listed below.
Basic Qualifications for Level 3: Master's Degree with 3 years of
relevant experience; OR a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of
relevant experience; OR an Associate's Degree with 7 years of
relevant experience; OR a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with
9 years of relevant experience is required Must have a Security
certification (or greater); maintaining the required certification
will be a condition of continued employment Candidates must have a
DOD Secret level security clearance (at a minimum) in order to be
considered Candidates must have the ability to obtain, and
maintain, a DOD Top Secret clearance as a condition of continued
employment Candidates must have the ability to obtain, and
maintain, access to Special Programs as a condition of employment
Experience and understanding of storage technologies such as SAN
and NAS Experience and understanding of data protection and
disaster recovery principles Experience with backup software and
tools (Cohesity, Backup Exec, etc.) Working knowledge of VMware
vSphere including ESXi, vCenter, and Vsan Basic Qualifications for
Level 4: Master's Degree with 6 years of relevant experience; OR a
Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of relevant experience; OR an
Associate's Degree with 10 years of relevant experience; OR a High
School Diploma (or equivalent) with 12 years of relevant experience
is required Must have a Security certification (or greater);
maintaining the required certification will be a condition of
continued employment Candidates must have a DOD Secret level
security clearance (at a minimum) in order to be considered
Candidates must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, a DOD Top
Secret clearance as a condition of continued employment Candidates
must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, access to Special
Programs as a condition of employment Experience and understanding

and Vsan Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information
Technology Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, Polygraph, or SAP/SAR
access 7 years of Storage Administration experience Relevant
certification in areas such as CompTIA Storage, VMware Certified
Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Additional
Operating System Environment Certification (ex. MCSA, MCSE, Linux,
RHCSA, Net, CCNA, etc.) Broad knowledge of systems administrations
to include multiple technologies such as Windows, Linux, Cisco,
VMware, NetApp Scripting using Bash, PowerCLI, PowerShell
Experience with Omnissa Horizon VDI Experience with scripting and
automation (e.g., Ansible Automation, Python) Experience supporting
Dell and NetApp storage appliances including: Unstructured CIFS and
NFS shares Block storage S3 object storage: NetApp StorageGRID,
Dell ObjectScale (ECS) Dell: Unity, PowerScale, XtremIO, PowerStore

Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00 Secondary Level Salary
Range: $111,700.00 - $167,500.00 The above salary range represents
a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number
of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope
and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's
experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime,
shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base
pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions
as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees
in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long
Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety

disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid
