Job Description:

The Human Resource Coordinator provides administrative support to in all areas in HR including Recruitment and works alongside HR Director. Majority of the HR Administrator tasks include recruiting, onboarding and setting up interviews for open positions within the company. About You: I f you have an HR background, are extremely organized and have basic knowledge of labor legislation and a flair for interacting with people, we'd like to meet you! Essential Functions : Assist with pre-screening of hourly positions and interview process. Tracks status of candidates and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process. Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the Director of Human Resources. Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files. Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks. Assists with Orientation and processing new hire paperwork. Creates new employee files. Issuing Gate tags, name tags and uniforms and or business cards when applicable. Updating any employee changes, such as W2 change, addresses, phone etc. Assists with the processing of terminations and storage according to compliance regulations. Assists with the preparation of the performance review process. Surface all managerial & hourly reviews, with appropriate forms to manager at least a month in advance of actual review date. Track and monitor timely completion. Maintain Uniform Inventory, distribute and order. Ensure uniforms and personal appearance are clean and professional. Help with Social team member events and volunteer events. Assist with input into the monthly Employee Newsletter. Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions. Files documents into appropriate employee files. Assists or prepares correspondence as requested. Prepares new-employee files. Processes mail. Maintain central filing for common forms and replenish HR forms inside and outside the office. Assist with planning and facilitating benefit enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions. Assist in ordering office supplies. Practice safety standards and report any unsafe conditions. Must be able to maintain confidentially of information. Will perform additional duties as requested by the Director of Human Resources. Qualifications : Minimum of 2 years related experience in human resource a must. Preferably in a hotel or related industry. College Degree or college course work in related field, preferred not required. High level of written and verbal communication skills. Computer proficiency; specifically, with Microsoft Office, Windows and Excel. Micros experience is preferred. The ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure work environment while executing delegated tasks and assignments. Highly motivated self-starter focused on quality, organization, guest service and teamwork. High School diploma or equivalent required.
