Job Description:

Maingate Lakeside Resort is looking for an Executive Housekeeper and the right person for the job will be a highly motivated individual that is bursting with energy. We need a technically savvy person with exceptional people skills. Someone that wants to provide a level of customer service that enhances our guest's overall experience during their stay on property. The Executive Housekeeper works under the direction of the General Manager helping to efficiently manage the housekeeping operations. This includes, but is not limited to staffing, maintaining budgets and seeing that the overall cleanliness of the hotel is maintained.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Is responsible for room assignments, correct staffing levels of shift and ensuring the smooth operation of the housekeeping department during their work shift.Train and monitor performance of all new housekeeping staff. Provide organization, instruction, guidance, communication, as well as exercise good judgement and common sense, while reinforcing Maingates high standards of quality. Insure all jobs are completed within the shift.Responsible for the upkeep and maintaining of all VIP to take inventories and order needed supplies.Assist in any/all administrative functions such as open and close department, inventory, and any other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

  • Must be service oriented. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Must have knowledge of computers.
  • Must be highly organized, results oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast-paced changing environment. Must possess the ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner and exhibit good judgment.
