Job Description:
HCA Healthcare invites applications for the position of
Registered Nurse RN Open Heart PRN. In this vital role, you will be
integral to our patient-centered approach, specializing in
open-heart surgical care. You will work closely with cardiovascular
surgeons and surgical teams, applying a high level of expertise in
perioperative and postoperative care, tailored to the intricacies
of open heart surgery. This PRN position offers the flexibility to
balance work with your personal commitments, while being a part of
a large supportive network aimed at making a difference in the
lives of our patients. Provide expert care to patients undergoing
open heart surgery. Assist in surgical operations under the
guidance of cardiovascular surgeons. Monitor and adjust specialized
equipment used during and after surgery. Coordinate with healthcare
professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
plans. Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
Educate patients and their families on recovery procedures.
Clinical competence in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery nursing.
Skill in operating special surgical equipment. Ability to
communicate effectively with surgical teams and patients.
Proficient in maintaining accurate medical records and
documentation. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Valid state RN license. Basic Life Support
(BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
preferred.
