Job Description:
As an RN in Recovery PRN at HCA Healthcare, you will be crucial
in the postoperative phase, ensuring high-level care and safety of
our patients during night shifts. This role is driven by a
commitment to patient-centered practices, focusing on assessing
patients’ status and administering appropriate care. This position
requires a dedicated nurse to handle the unique challenges of night
shifts and weekend coverages, contributing to our mission of
improving human life by delivering exceptional care. Monitor
postoperative patients and assess levels of consciousness.
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor reactions. Manage
pain relief and sedation. Ensure patient safety and stability by
adhering to recovery protocols. Collaborate with surgical and
medical teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Document
patient status and recovery progress. Strong assessment and
monitoring skills. Ability to manage postoperative care with high
precision. Proficiency in pain management and sedation. Excellent
communication and teamwork skills. Capability to work independently
in high-pressure environments. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse
license in the state of practice. BLS/ACLS Certification from the
American Heart Association.
