Registered Nurse (RN) | Wound/Ostomy Location: Melbourne, FL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,480 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Wound Care Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year in wound care License: Valid Florida State or compact license required Certifications: BLS, WCC required; WOCN preferred Must-Have: EPIC experience required Description: Wound Care position available for a day shift, Monday through Friday. Wound care certification or ostomy certification is required. Wound Care Certified (WCC) or Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (WOCN) certification must be in hand at the time of application. Responsibilities include floating between multiple facilities to cover wound consults. Primary location will have the highest volume of consults, with occasional floating required to other facilities. There will be a team of professionals to manage wound care across multiple locations. Experience with various wound types and management techniques is essential. All staff must adhere to the flu vaccine requirement and provide necessary documentation. Two references from authority figures within the last year are required. Candidates must provide relevant experience related to wound care in their work history. Candidates with pending licenses will not be accepted. Candidates should be prepared for potential pre-employment screenings. The position requires a strong understanding of wound assessment and various treatment modalities. This includes management of pressure ulcers, venous and arterial ulcers, and ostomy care. Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams is essential for successful patient outcomes. Flexibility to accommodate scheduling needs may be required. RTO (Requests for Time Off) must be included with application. Candidates must be updated on relevant vaccinations in accordance with health guidelines.
