Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with Occupational Therapists to implement therapeutic plans and help patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working. This position will offer the opportunity to work in a range of settings, including hospital-based and home-based environments, where our focus is on delivering high-quality, cost-effective care tailored to individual patient needs. Assist Occupational Therapists in evaluating patients’ progress and preparing reports on patients' progress. Implement therapeutic plans designed by the Occupational Therapist effectively and compassionately. Communicate regularly with patients, family members, and other team members to ensure consistent care. Maintain patient records and compliance with healthcare regulations. Support patients and their families to understand treatments and therapists' instructions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to follow detailed instructions A compassionate and positive attitude Flexibility to work in various healthcare environments Proficiency in maintaining accurate patient records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) State license as required
