Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is actively seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse
(RN) for our dynamic Catheterization Laboratory team. This vital
role is tailored for a compassionate and skilled nursing
professional experienced in providing critical care in high-stakes
settings. Our RNs in the Cath Lab play a key role in the diagnosis
and treatment of cardiac and vascular conditions, working closely
with a team of specialized physicians and healthcare professionals
to deliver holistic, patient-centered care in accordance with HCA
Healthcare’s standards of excellence. Provide direct and
individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of
scientific nursing principles Monitor, record, and report symptoms
or changes in patients' conditions while maintaining accurate and
detailed records Operate or monitor medical apparatus and equipment
used in the catheterization laboratory Participate in the
assessment, development, and implementation of patient care plans
in collaboration with healthcare team Educate patients and their
families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures, and
other aspects of therapeutic regimens Maintain a safe, sterile, and
secure environment at all times to avoid infections and ensure the
safety of patients and staff Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Proficiency in using cath lab equipment Strong critical thinking
and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills Ability to work well under pressure and in
emergency situations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid and current Registered Nurse
license Certification in cardiovascular nursing (CVRN) is preferred
BLS Certification
