Job Summary and Qualifications We are seeking a dynamic RN to join our Open Heart team. As an RN in OR setting you will collaborate with other members of the health care team including physicians, to deliver quality health care. In this role you will provide the best possible preventative and supportive intra-operative care to each patient based upon their individual needs. What you will do in this role: Recognize and address urgentand emergent surgical situation Foster continuity and quality of care in the best interests of patients Assess andmonitorpatients’ medical status while in the OR Assess patient’s condition andmonitorvitals, providing general nursing care Ensure the Operating Room is prepared with all necessary supplies, implants, instrumentation, and equipment Keep the operating room sterilized Review charts for completeness,in accordance withdocumentation protocols Communicate effectivelywith patients, teammates, and physicians to ensure continuity of care Requirements: Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN licenserequired. Compact license holders have60 daysto obtain the Florida license after relocation.
