Position Overview Coan Eye Care is seeking a motivated, personable, and clinically strong Full-Time Optometrist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, comfortable practicing fullscope optometry, and eager to build long-term patient relationships within a thriving private practice. This role offers clinical autonomy, a positive work culture, and the opportunity to practice the highest standard of care without the pressures of a corporate setting. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages Diagnose and manage ocular diseases including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye, and other medical conditions Fit and evaluate soft and specialty contact lenses Provide pre and postoperative care for refractive and cataract surgery patients Educate patients on eye health, treatment recommendations, and vision solutions Collaborate with technicians, opticians, and administrative team to ensure efficient patient flow Maintain accurate and detailed records in our EHR system Contribute to a warm, welcoming, and patientcentered office environment Qualifications Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program Active Florida Optometry License (or eligible) Strong clinical skills with interest in medical optometry Commitment to exceptional patient care and communication Teamoriented, positive, and dependable New graduates and experienced doctors are encouraged to apply What We Offer Competitive salary with bonus opportunities Flexible, full-time schedule (45 days/week; no late evenings) Supportive, familyoriented team culture Modern diagnostic and imaging technology Excellent technician and administrative support Benefits package may include: Health insurance Paid time off and paid holidays Continuing education allowance Malpractice insurance Retirement plan options Opportunities for professional growth within a respected private practice Why Join Coan Eye Care?
