Job Description Job Description Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Location: Kissimmee, FL Position Type: Full-Time | Permanent Shifts Available: Days (Rotating Weekends) Nights (Rotating Weekends) Position Summary The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) performs comprehensive respiratory care services for patients of all ages under general supervision. This role includes administering routine and advanced respiratory therapy procedures, managing ventilators, and ensuring accurate documentation of care provided. The RRT is expected to work independently when needed and maintain high standards of patient safety, quality care, and compliance with hospital protocols. Key Responsibilities Perform all respiratory care-related duties for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients Set up and administer routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures Manage acute care ventilators for short- and long-term mechanical ventilation Monitor patient responses and adjust treatment plans as needed Maintain accurate documentation in hospital systems Ensure compliance with department and hospital standards Function independently in the absence of a team leader Qualifications Minimum 1 year of RRT experience Completion of an AMA-approved Respiratory Care Program (Associate Degree required) Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Active Florida RRT license (must be in hand at time of hire) Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Benefits 401(k) Paid Time Off Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Flexible Spending Accounts Life & Disability Insurance Tuition Reimbursement Employee Discount Program Employee Stock Purchase Program Student Loan Repayment Assistance Company Description LanceSoft is rated as one of the largest staffing firms in the US by SIA.
