Job Description:

HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our dynamic team. Our hospital is recognized for its advanced medical technology and commitment to excellence in patient care. This role involves assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders. As part of our team, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare staff to ensure effective and efficient management of patient care. Evaluate and treat patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders. Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas analysis and spirometry. Consult with physicians to develop patient treatment plans. Provide emergency care, including artificial ventilation, external cardiac massage, and assistance with cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Monitor and manage therapy that can help eliminate or prevent pulmonary complications. Educate patients and families about lung health and disease prevention. Proficient in using advanced respiratory care equipment and technology. Strong clinical skills in pulmonary function testing and cardiopulmonary assessment. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Capacity to handle stressful situations and make decisions quickly.
