Job Description Job Description Job Title: Pain Management Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Locations: 6333 54th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL 33709 8139 SR 54, New Port Richey, FL 34655 5270 Applegate Dr., Spring Hill, FL 34606 Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced NP or PA to join our multi-location pain management practice in Florida. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions. This role involves working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive pain management services across our three clinic locations. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive physical exams and pain assessments. Diagnose and treat pain-related conditions using pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic methods. Administer interventional procedures such as joint injections, trigger point injections, and nerve blocks (training provided if needed). Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.). Develop and manage individualized treatment plans. Prescribe medications in accordance with Florida state laws. Provide patient education and counseling on pain management strategies. Collaborate with supervising physicians and refer complex cases as needed. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings. Travel between clinic locations as needed (travel stipend may be provided). Qualifications: Licensed in Florida as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP) or Physician Assistant. Board certified or board eligible. Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, or related field preferred. DEA license and ability to prescribe controlled substances. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
