Connecting. Growing together. The Associate Patient Care
Coordinator is responsible to the Center Administrator and provides
appointment scheduling, patient registration, cashiering, answers
incoming calls and performs other related clerical functions. This
primary role provides front office support functions. Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM EST Location: 1082 E Brandon
Blvd., Brandon, FL 33551 Primary Responsibilities: - Provide
exceptional service to all customers - Greets patients as they
arrive and manages wait time - Complete check-in and check-out
tasks to include insurance verification and copy required documents
- Collects co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles and issues
receipts - Manages cashier box and daily deposits according to
company policies - Processes walk-in patients and visitors - Uses,
protects, and discloses patients’ protected health information
(PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and
Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards - Answers phones and schedules
appointments as necessary, verifying correct visit type and primary
care provider - Answer telephone calls, re-direct calls as
appropriate, assist callers with questions or concerns, and take
messages as needed - Manages medical records (maintains,
files/scans, prepares for schedule) - Ensures all correspondence is
scanned and/or filed, processes requests for medical records
release and maintains appropriate logs, etc - Responsible for
waiting room management cleanliness, communicate pertinent
information to patients and ensure all patients have been assisted
- Work with back-office staff to ensure smooth patient flow -
Resolve service issues and complaints, and defer to appropriate
management or clinical personnel when necessary - Assist co-workers
and team members with duties when requested, to include but not
limited to, floating to other areas - Establish and maintain
effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the
public - Performs all other related duties as assigned What are the

you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: - High School
Diploma/GED (or higher) - 1 years of customer service-related
experience - 1 years of experience with MS Office - Bilingual
(English/Spanish) Preferred Qualifications: - 1 years of experience
in a medical office or medical environment - Previous experience
with medical insurance - Prior experience with EMR computer
applications - Working knowledge of medical terminology/ medical
coding - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations The salary range for this
role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local
labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
