Rollins Street, Suite 11100, Orlando, FL 32804*The community youll be caring for:** More than 800 physicians, 450+ advanced practice providers, and 2,600 clinical and support staff in over 40 specialties, provide patients with a broad range of medical and surgical services.* AdventHealth Medical Group Central FL operates over 200 offices, providing compassionate, multidisciplinary care to more than one million patients a year.* In existence since 1994, AdventHealth Medical Group Central FL has demonstrated consistent growth and stability in an ever-changing health care market.*The role youll contribute:*The Radiology Technologist under the direction of the Office manager/Clinical Supervisor performs radiologic procedures as ordered by the physician. Assists the physician during casting, treatment and examination of the patient.*The value youll bring to the team:** Maintains current, valid CPR certification and Radiology certificate.* Prepares patients for radiology procedures. Takes x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.* Uses a gonadal shielding when possible for all patients of childbearing age and all pediatric patients.* Develops and processes radiology film.* Maintains x-ray film files in a neat and orderly fashion. Ensures that reports and/or films are available for the physician in a timely manner.* Logs radiology procedures completed. Processes routine paper work.
