accredited. Passionately focused.*Job Description:*Flora Family Vet
is seeking a dedicated and skilled Veterinarian with a primary
focus on Surgery and Dentistry. The ideal candidate will be
proficient in a variety of surgical procedures, including soft
tissue surgeries, spay/neuter, splenectomy, dentistry, extractions,
etc. While orthopedic surgery is not currently offered, should the
right candidate apply we would be open to its inclusion in the
future. This position offers the opportunity for either full-time
or part-time employment, providing flexibility to suit individual
preferences. Although the position is primarily for surgery and
dentistry we are looking for a well rounded person that would be
willing to see general wellness and sick appointments as
needed.*Responsibilities:** Perform surgical procedures with
precision and care, adhering to best practices and AAHA standards.*
Conduct dental examinations and perform dental procedures,
including cleanings and extractions.* Provide thorough
pre-operative assessments and post-operative care to ensure optimal
patient outcomes.* Collaborate effectively with the veterinary team
to develop treatment plans and provide comprehensive care to
patients.* Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance
with regulatory standards.* Actively participate in continuing
education and training to stay abreast of advancements in
veterinary medicine and surgical techniques.* Foster a culture of
safety, integrity, teamwork, compassion, and education in all
interactions with colleagues, clients, and
patients.Qualifications:* Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or
equivalent degree from an accredited institution.* State veterinary
licensure in good standing.* Demonstrated proficiency in surgical
techniques, including soft tissue surgeries, spay/neuter,
dentistry, etc.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
with a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.*
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.*
