Job Description:

Seeking a motivated and dependable certified or registered medical assistant. A successful candidate will need to have strong communication skills, be friendly and helpful to our patient population, be competent in basic computer skills, be knowledgeable about HIPAA privacy rules and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Job Summary: The Medical Assistant will be responsible for taking vitals, documenting necessary medical information in our electronic medical record (EHR) system. They will need to be able to work as part of a team, have strong time management skills, be open to traveling to multiple offices, and treat our patients with the respect and care they deserve. Responsibilities: --- High volume of phlebotomy --- Maintain supplies for the clinical operations --- Ensure lab specimens are sent to proper labs --- Document patient care services utilizing daily logs and patient records --- Utilize the computer in entering labs and printing labels from eIVF --- Assist physician or ultrasound technician with various fertility procedures --- Take vital signs and provide general clinical assistance --- Assists with the clinical care of fertility patients --- Ensure the patient environment is set up, organized and clean --- Works independently to assure the program goals are achieved --- Support and promote excellence in customer service Desired Skills and Experience: --- Completion of a formal MA program --- Strong phlebotomy skills --- Experience in and a passion for women's health, fertility is a plus --- Strong communication skills & a team player --- Willingness to be flexible and roll with the punches --- Detail oriented --- Exemplifies strong customer service skills and professionalism Competencies: Excellent computer skills Understanding of privacy and HIPAA Good communication skills: written, in person, and on the phone Ability to demonstrate compassion and care for our patients Good organizational and time management skills Dependable Work well with a team
