Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Restaurant Leader to join our
team.
General Manager is generally a full-time opportunity and offers
excellent benefits.
Job Duties:
- Ensuring incoming staff complies with company policy
- Training staff to follow restaurant procedures
- Maintaining safety and food quality standards
- Handling complaints
- Organizing schedules
- Keeping track of employees' hours
- Recording payroll data
- Placing orders from providers (Sysco)
- Manages P&L
- Supervising daily shift operations
- Ensuring all end of day cash outs are correctly completed
- Coordinating daily front- and back-of-house restaurant
operations
- Controlling operational costs and identifying ways to cut
waste
- Appraising staff performance
- Interviewing/recruiting new employees
- Interacting with guests to get feedback on product quality and
service levels
- Assists staff where needed
- Opening/closing restaurant
- Ensure stores are
- Maintains overall sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety
standards for food preparation areas, cooking services, and dishes
and utensils.
- Follows and abides by all safety rules, policies, and
procedures Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have good interpersonal communication skills to work with
customers and other employees
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to produce authorized U.S. work documents
- Preferred: Fluent in English & Spanish Must be able to read in
English
- Preferred: ServSafe Certification
- Preferred: 1+ year of experience in restaurant industry or with
customer service
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to pass background check
