The Vice President of Revenue Management oversees Revenue Management and Channel Management for Rentyl Resorts. As a key member of the NDM Leadership team, this position is responsible for managing revenue strategy, with the goal of improving revenue streams throughout the company, striving toward additional profit for both NDM and Vacation Rental Owners.Essential Responsibilities: Analyze short and long-term forecasting and budgeting, analyze trends in transient and group inventories & rates to include occupancy, goals, product line and strategic sales goals. Analyze and monitor marketing channels, key, and other account production. Ensure that all major channels of distribution effectively support the hotel and maintain rate parity. Communicate with senior leadership on current trends and production Provide suggestions on marketing campaign needs and suggest strategies for implementation Work with each department to develop property-specific strategies to ensure growth including forecasting and budgeting for enterprise. Establish appropriate goals and benchmarks in order to effectively measure performance. Explore and provide variations in market mix which would stimulate additional revenue without increasing costs. Writing and training teams on SOPs. Responsible for the maintenance of any software programs which contribute to the management of revenue including Synxis, Opera, RMS and Delphi. Assist with implementation of Revenue Management basics and standards. Foster a culture of Revenue Management throughout all departments of the enterprise. Develop and implement succession planning for Revenue Management talent. Assists with rate projections, studies, and strategy for new markets. Oversees Channel Management and Distribution for both OTAs and Wholesalers. Management of online travel agency marketing budget.Qualifications:SkillsKnowledge of hospitality sales, marketing, and other revenue management functions toinclude research, planning, market positioning, market segments, distribution channels, sales management, reservations, and yield management. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent organization skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficient in property management and revenue management systems use and development. Proficient at statistical and competitive analysis. Individual must be high energy with a positive attitude. Someone who is guest service and team oriented. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to clearly communicate with partners, team members and senior leadership.Abilities Outstanding leadership skills required. Must be a motivator, someone who can get the most out of people and create efficiencies to improve performance. Ability to effectively analyze and use operational, financial, and marketing data to maintain and improve market share/penetration goals. Ability to move quickly and adjust strategies based on trends, market demand and property needs. Understanding of hotel operations and can associate with their needs through the revenue department. Ability to work well under deadline pressure. Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations. Ability to quickly adapt to a constantly changing market.Qualifications Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business or analytics. Minimum of 10 years' experience in hotels/resorts with minimum of 5 years in Revenue Management. Previous hospitality experience required.Preferred Competencies and Qualifications Independent hotel background is preferred.
