Systems has an opening for a Engineer Systems / Principal Engineer
Systems to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within
our Systems Engineering organization. This role is located in
Melbourne, FL . This role may be filled at the Base OR Principal
level based on the qualifications listed, below In this role, the
successful candidate will perform system integration, develop
verification and validation processes, develop timeline analyses,
and assist with system level requirements closures. This individual
will collaborate with several stakeholders across distributed teams
to support delivery of quality design products. Key
Responsibilities: Performs total systems requirements analysis
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade
studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies
Supports system requirements development, management, analysis, and
traceability, to translate customer requirements and CONOPS into
systems requirements. Supports Request for Proposal responses and
Basis of Estimate development and submissions We offer flexible

Basic Qualifications (Base): Must have a Bachelor of Science degree
in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline
AND 2 years of related professional/military experience, OR a
Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 0 years of
related professional/military experience, OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 0
year of related professional/military experience. Must have an
active DoD Secret clearance or higher clearance (with a background
investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently
enrolled into Continuous Evaluation). Must have the ability to
obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance prior to
the commencement of employment Must have experience in DOORs or
other Requirements Management tools Basic Qualifications
(Principal): Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM
(Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline AND 5 years
of related professional/military experience, OR a Master of Science
degree in a STEM discipline AND 3 years of related
professional/military experience, OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 1 year of
related professional/military experience. Must have an active DoD
Secret clearance or higher clearance (with a background
investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently
enrolled into Continuous Evaluation). Must have the ability to
obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance prior to
the commencement of employment Must have experience in DOORs or
other Requirements Management tools Preferred Qualifications: Must
have experience presenting technical approaches and content to
leadership Must have experience communicating effectively and
clearly presenting technical approaches and findings at technical
and program reviews and boards An active, In-scope DoD Secret or
Top Secret clearance Previous or existing Program Access Request
(PAR) Experience with proposals and developing Basis of Estimates
(BOEs) Experience with Agile / Scrum Experience with Atlassian
Tools (Jira/Confluence) Experience with Software development
methodologies Primary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00 The above
salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop
Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary
offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and
the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market
conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible
for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in
addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward
individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in
company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions
may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop
Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance
coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid
holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal
