Job Description Description The Multi-Domain Solutions Division at Leidos currently has openings for a Cleared Network Engineer to work in our Orlando, FL office. Our team supports the Advanced Battle Management System’s (ABMS) Digital Infrastructure (DI) Network Manager program. In this mission we support the Department of the Air Force (DAF) to field and operate the ABMS Digital Infrastructure, which is foundational in creating a unified command-and-control infrastructure connecting/ integrating sensors, data streams, and weapon systems across all domains (air, land, sea, cyber, and space). This will ultimately allow U.S. forces from all services — as well as allies and partners — to sense, make sense and act upon a vast array of data and information faster than adversaries can detect and respond to. Primary Responsibilities. Provide Network Engineering support to include planning, designing, and evaluating specific network architecture. Develop and manage policies and profiles to optimize application delivery and security. Work with Tier 2 Managers to establish regular monitoring of network devices to ensure optimal performance. Conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary updates and patches. Work closely with network engineers, system administrators, and application developers to ensure seamless integration of network solutions, to include installation, configuration, and maintenance of Juniper network hardware and software. Provide technical expertise to resolve networking issues/ events, as well as update and configure equipment while maintaining a configuration management process throughout the systems life cycle. Basic Qualifications: BA/BS or equivalent experience and 8 years or prior relevant experience or MS with 6 years or prior relevant experience. Active and current Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance. Experience with configuring, activating, testing, and analyzing network systems Experience in the following areas: Python script development Elasticsearch / Logstash / Kibana Linux systems administration Windows systems administration Ability to work in a team environment, but self-driven to complete assignments while continually developing proficiencies in processes Strong written and verbal communications, team building and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Juniper Certified or Cisco Certified RedHat support experience. SD-WAN experience Prior experience with SAFe Agile implementation Previous experience working on complex multi-domain systems Experience with large weapons systems and command and control platforms across the DoD portfolio Experience with design of Cloud and Edge Computing and Network TS/SCI clearance If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
