Job Description:
Quality Control Inspector- Level 1- Longwood, FL. $15 an hour or
more DOE. IMMEDIATE OPENING Excellent Benefits-company pay 90% The
schedule for all will be Mon-Thur. 7:00AM- 4:00PM and Friday 7:00AM
- 1:00PM. Great work-life balance Reports to: Quality Control
Supervisor / Product Manager JOB DESCRIPTION Essential Duties and
Responsibilities Accept or reject product, materials, or articles;
identify and document non-conformances to engineering,
specifications, & standards and notify appropriate personnel of
potential rejection of items. Report discrepancies to Supervision
and Management. Document inspection results through the completion
of reports and logs. Perform mathematical functions for weight
measurements, torque conversions, and dimensional measurements.
Perform visual inspection, continuity and/or resistance testing on
cables, harnesses, or connectors. Ensure measurement equipment is
well maintained and operating accurately. Maintain a safe and
healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
Track/record job progress and deficiencies daily in both written
and electronic formats. Accurately record product information,
traceability requirements, labor hours, and other statistics into
computer databases to comply with company requirements.
Qualifications / Requirements Attention to detail and quality.
Proficient with data entry and the use of computer resources.
Ability to read and comprehend detailed work instructions and
interpret drawings, schematics, specifications, and standards.
Ability to accurately use required measuring tools and perform
basic mathematical functions. Able to bend, stoop, reach, sit,
stand, and walk for extended periods. Able to lift up-to 30 pounds.
Desired Qualifications Prior experience in quality assurance or as
a Quality Control Inspector. IPC Certification to standard 620
and/or J-STD-001. Willingness to work varied shifts to support
surge activities. Bilingual in English and Spanish
