Job Description Job Description Eckerd College is currently hiring for the position of Global Education Marketing Coordinator to join our Global Education team at our waterfront property along the Boca Ciega Bay in St. Petersburg, Florida, in our relationship-focused community. The Risser Center for Global Education provides opportunities for students to develop global competency by engaging with other cultures, learning new perspectives, and deepening their understanding of ways of knowing and being, with the goal that every student has the opportunity to participate in global education as part of their degree. The Global Education Marketing Coordinator supports the college’s commitment to immersive, transformative learning by advancing education abroad opportunities through personalized student advising, campus-wide outreach, and strategic storytelling. As the Global Education Marketing Coordinator, you will serve as a connector, helping students integrate global experiences into their academic and personal goals while working closely with faculty and campus partners to promote participation and access through outreach, marketing and campus programming. The Global Education Marketing Coordinator should have strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with students and faculty. The incumbent must be able to manage multiple priorities in a small-team environment and perform outreach, make presentations, and advise students in a one-on-one setting. Demonstrated skills in design marketing materials in Canva, Adobe or other softwares is crucial to success in this position. Key Responsibilities Provide individualized advising to undergraduate students exploring global education opportunities, including semester, short-term, faculty-led, and exchange programs Help students connect global experiences to liberal arts learning outcomes, academic pathways, and career exploration Guide students through application processes, institutional requirements, and pre-departure preparation Support students before, during, and after their global experiences, including re-entry reflection and integration Maintain accurate advising notes and student records in the global education management system Design and implement outreach strategies that resonate with a small-campus culture, emphasizing relationships, storytelling, and peer influence Create content for websites, email campaigns, social media, and print materials that highlight student experiences and faculty engagement Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field; 3 years of experience in marketing/communications, global education or student advising.
