We're recruiting a seasoned Director of Preconstruction on behalf of a top-tier general contractor in Orlando, FL. Description Lead the entire preconstruction process from concept through GMP, working closely with owners, architects, and internal teams. Oversee estimating, value engineering, design coordination, constructability reviews, and bid strategy. Develop and manage preconstruction budgets, schedules, and deliverables across multiple large-scale projects. Collaborate with operations and business development to ensure seamless project transition and client satisfaction. Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing preconstruction team. Stay ahead of market trends, costs, and materials to ensure competitive and accurate project proposals. Profile 10 years of progressive experience in preconstruction, with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role. Proven expertise in healthcare, entertainment/theme park, or large commercial construction projects. Strong technical background with a deep understanding of preconstruction processes, estimating software, and construction documents. Excellent communicator and team leader, able to drive collaboration between clients, designers, and internal stakeholders.
