Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Apopka company is looking for a
Bookkeeper. Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper will include, but
not limited to the following. Performing accounts receivable duties
throughout the project, such as preparing invoices and payment
applications, reviewing and entering payments received and tracking
lien waiver requirements. Performing all accounts payable functions
including receiving, coding and entering invoices and tracking and
paying invoices when due and approved. Review payroll time cards
bi-weekly and submit payroll for processing. Assist with Human
Resource duties as needed. Process and report monthly sales tax.
Track any other tax or license payments required. Collaborating
with the project manager to develop a detailed, cost-effective
budget for the project and maintaining the budget with change
order. Preparing monthly job cost forecasting reports. Reporting
any budgetary discrepancies. Track vendor documentation such as
insurance certificates and lien documents. Developing and
maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Keeping abreast with both the construction and accounting industry.
