      Responsibilities
      Audit and Compliance: Understanding internal and external audit processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements is an important part of the role.
      General Ledger Reconciliation: Senior Accountants are responsible for reconciling and maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger. They should be skilled in identifying discrepancies and resolving them.
      Financial Software: Proficiency in using financial software and accounting tools, such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems, is essential.
      Microsoft Excel: Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas, are often required for data analysis and financial modeling.
      Financial Reporting: They need to prepare financial statements, reports, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders. Experience with financial reporting tools is beneficial.
      Budgeting and Forecasting: Senior Accountants are often involved in budget preparation, variance analysis, and forecasting. Knowledge of budgeting software and practices is valuable.
