Job Description:

Disney Signature Experiences is hiring a Senior Analyst who will work with partners across The Walt Disney Company to develop and deliver actionable, data-driven insights that guide optimal performance in achieving Disney's 2030 Environmental Goals. We are looking for resourceful and analytical talent with a demonstrated ability to learn and expand the team's capabilities. You will be responsible for data collection, data analyses, and the development of metrics, KPIs, and dashboards that will drive strategic planning and successful project performance. Disney Signature Experiences includes Disney Cruise Line, Disney Vacation Club, Adventures and Expeditions, Disney Institute, and Storyliving by Disney. Responsibilities:

• Collect and report of large data sets from a variety of internal and external sources (emissions, waste, and water), perform calculations of environmental sustainability metrics following guidance provided by senior staff.
• Assist in the development of reporting frameworks with new measurement methodologies, metrics, and KPIs.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of a variety of reports, dashboards, R&D pilots, and ad-hoc analyses to track operational and project performance toward environmental goals.
• Keep up to date with industry best practices for environmental data collection and reporting. Simplify and clearly present complex data and effectively communicate findings to leaders of all levels in a manner that is actionable to the audience.
• Develop and maintain credibility with a large network of internal partners, participate in frequent meetings, and communicate status of data collection and calculation activities.
• Occasionally assist with other work and projects as needed for the team including waste and water studies. Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a role with data analysis
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a sense of personal ownership
  • High standards for work quality, attention to detail, and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines while working independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey unbiased analyses to partners at all levels, including non-technical audiences
  • Ability to confidently translate complex quantitative analyses into compelling, actionable, and objective recommendations
  • Proven success collaborating with a diverse range of partners and ability to understand multiple perspectives
  • Experience with data visualization or business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet), and willingness and ability to quickly learn new systems or programs
  • Experience with ad hoc analysis, data visualizations, and multi-functional reporting for problem solving, informing business decisions, and evaluating project performance.
  • Exercise strong conceptual thinking skills - must be able to understand broad concepts, articulate linkages/gaps, and recommend tactics/strategies that enable a vision Preferred Qualifications:
    • Prior leadership experience with indirect or direct reports, or management of others through projects or special assignments.
    • Proven success developing and maintaining reporting dashboards
    • Prior environmental work experience with waste, water conservation, energy, etc.
    • Prior experience with environmental databases and reporting tools (desired)
    • Understanding of the Walt Disney Company Environmental Goals Required Education:
      • Bachelor's Degree in an analytical/qualitative field such as Finance, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Decision Science, etc. Preferred Education:
        • Master's Degree in an analytical/qualitative field such as Finance, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Decision Science, etc. or
        • Sustainability related certification or educational experience
