We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and providing support in various accounting tasks. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
salary: $50,000 - $55,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: Bachelors
Responsibilities
+ Process and record financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
+ Verify, reconcile, and maintain various financial documents, including invoices, receipts, and bank statements.
+ Assist in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and spreadsheets.
+ Perform data entry tasks and maintain updated records in the accounting software.
+ Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
+ Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and ensure the accuracy of financial information.
+ Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
+ Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
+ Respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders regarding financial transactions.
+ Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Skills
+ General Ledger (2 years of experience is required)
+ Accounts Receivable (2 years of experience is preferred)
+ Bank Reconciliations
+ Accounts Payable (1 year of experience is preferred)
+ Account Reconciliation (2 years of experience is preferred)
+ Month-End Close
+ Year End Close
