Description Specialization:Orthopaedic Total JointsJob Summary: HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is seeking orthopaedic surgeon to join an established private practice group in Kissimmee, FL and develop a high-volume total joint center of excellence in collaboration with HCA Poinciana Hospital.

Qualified Candidates:

• Independent private practice established almost 20 years ago
• Total hips and knees-focused practice
• New position is due to growth in group
• Must be American board-certified in orthopaedic surgery
• Minimum 3-5 years of prior experience in practice is required
• 3 orthopedic surgeons, 1 primary care physician, and 3 APPs
• Mon-Fri schedule; 3 days in clinic / 2 days in hospital
• X-ray, private physician offices, and procedure rooms all in-house
• Investment opportunity available in future ambulatory surgery center
• No ER call
• 10-15 patients being turned away weekly

    • Opened in 2013, HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is a four-story, 177,000 sq. ft. hospital with 94 private beds, a 12-bed private ICU, and 31-bed emergency department
    • We provide a full range of acute care services including emergency services, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging, inpatient and outpatient surgery, cardiac catheterization, laboratory, pharmacy, and a full range of support services
    • Our ED is approximately 19,500 sq. ft. and consists of 31 private treatment rooms, an EMS entrance, and a helicopter pad
